Spaghetti Sauce

Spagettii sauce
1/2 red onion
1 garlic clove
1 carrot diced
ground turkey
1 diced carrot


In saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; fry onion, carrot, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 8 minutes.

Add tomato paste; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until thick enough to mound on spoon, about 30 minutes. (Make-ahead: Let cool for 30 minutes; refrigerate, uncovered, in airtight container until cold. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 2 months.)
