• 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup of corn
  • 1/2 black beans
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1 package hard or soft taco shells
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 jar of salsa
  • 1 cup. chopped lettuce
  • 1 container sour cream


A large pan

Step 1: Brown ground beef with onion

Brown the beef with the onion in large pan and drain. Return beef to pan.

Tip: For a healthy alternative, use diced or shredded chicken.

Step 2: Add taco seasoning

Add the taco seasoning and half cup water.

Step 3: Add black beans and corn

Add black beans and corn.

Tip: For spicy tacos, add a diced jalapeno pepper.

Step 4: Cook meat mixture

Cook the taco mixture over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5: Set out, buffet style, the taco mix, taco shells, shredded cheese, salsa, lettuce, and sour cream, and build your own tacos.
